A group of caring individuals in Torbay initially came together to assist one another in navigating the bureaucratic challenges of paperwork and the daunting task of finding suitable homes for these displaced individuals. From this shared purpose, a dedicated team of ten emerged, ready to undertake the immense responsibility of guiding our Ukrainian friends through the intricacies of their journey and ensuring a smooth transition to their 'new' homes.
 

Recognizing the need for additional resources, we established a Community Interest Company known as Torbay-Ukraine CIC.

This invaluable entity empowered us to secure the necessary funding to support the resettlement process.

Over time, as our Ukrainian guests settled into their new lives, we realized that our mission was nearing its completion. However, our unwavering desire to make a positive impact persisted, prompting us to expand our horizons and embrace others in need. Thus, Torbay-Ukraine CIC seamlessly integrated into a new endeavor known as Safe-Ways Torbay CIC, encompassing a wider scope of assistance for those seeking refuge.

We remain deeply committed to our Ukrainian friends, and many of them continue to lend their support to our cause.

The Ukrainian population will forever hold a special place in our hearts, serving as the inspiration behind our journey. Now, with our vision extended to encompass individuals of all nationalities, we strive to provide aid and support to anyone in need. We believe that together, we can make a lasting impact and create a world where compassion knows no boundaries.
